Hi everybody! I am Tania Uriona and I work as a Language center teacher at Uladech University. We use blended learning to teach undergraduate students of different faculties. I have a Bachelor of teaching in English-Spanish and have worked in the field for about 18 years. I also have a Phd in Teaching English as a foreign language. Moreover, I have worked as a pedagogical advisor travelling across my city collecting data of teachers that work with blended learning at public schools. I have an ECCE certification and currently I share my work teaching 30 hours at a JEC school (intensive English within public schools) apart of the university.

As Dewey tell us: “We do not learn from experience…we learn from reflecting on experience”. In fact students need a variety of learning situations and opportunities in order to be aware of and reflect on … variation, and to be able to make fine distinctions about the significant aspects of each new context. Such learning experiences are an important preparation for the unpredictable nature of the workplaces. It is argued that the outcome is learners who develop the capacity to be reflective, creative, critical and agile, all skills desired by their future workplaces. But it is important to know that reflection on higher education is a follow of high school and a trendy world-wide practice that support learning. This is required in multiple disciplines too.
